Today I joined the Prairie Schooler's ABC Stitching Bee.  Thank you Vonna, for enabling people like us who can't help but start all the gorgeous charts that designers can come up with.  Well at least we are doing our part to support the economy.

I have already bought some of the charts with more on the way from 123 Stitch.  I have decided to stitch them on Flax Dublin linen 25 count over 1 thread with the charted DMC threads.  What I haven't decided yet is whether to do them all together or allow enough room to cut them apart and make them into a wall hanging sized quilt.  Another obsession of mine.

I so want to get started but I have two Christmas gifts to finish first, hopefully over the Thanksgiving holiday.  So chances are it will be Christmas break before I can actually start.  By then I will have to come to a decision about the finishing, so I know how much room to leave around each one.

I'm just like so many of you, crazy to start yet another project, but what can I say?  I do finish things eventually.

Happy Stitching,

Sandy

  1. Thanks for becoming a follower on my blog. It's enabled me to find yours. Aren't those PS Alphabets the greatest. I like your idea of putting them in a quilt. I think it would look fantastic. I think I'm probably going to do mine all on one piece of fabric. I'll decide in the next day or two!! It will be fun to watch your progress and also other projects that you have.
